Si tratta di un sistema tradizionale diffuso nell’Europa centro settentrionale e nelle zone alpine. Consiste nella sovrapposizione di travi di legno squadrate con scanalature longitudinali e interventi alle estremità, le quali favoriscono l’incastro d’angolo.
